Work with us
The NGI provides opportunities for contract and collaborative research programmes with our world-class academics and technical staff, who can help you develop novel technologies, products and processes.
More than 100 companies to date from all over the world have chosen to partner with The University of Manchester to make their graphene ideas a reality. We continue to receive many enquiries from large and small companies to work with us and we want to see how we might collaborate to take those ideas and interests into projects and then products and applications.
Research-based collaborations at the NGI fall broadly into three categories: contract research projects, Industrial Cooperative Awards in Science & Technology (CASE) projects and Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs). Find out more.
Graphene@Manchester also offers formalised partnerships and project work en route to commercialisation through the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre (GEIC) and through funding mechanisms for local small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) such as Bridging the Gap.
